We do not offer free trial classes in the traditional sense. Instead, we offer a free initial consultation to help match the student with the pathway that best supports their goals. For eligible ongoing pathways, we also offer a 2-week refund period. If after those first two weeks you are not fully happy with the quality, simply email us and we will refund you in full. No questions asked. Masterclass Workshops work a little differently, as they are individual sessions rather than ongoing weekly programs.

You will be booked in with someone from operations or, in some cases, the recommended tutor themselves. We’ll ask a few questions about where the student is currently at, what they are working toward, what pathway would best suit them, pricing, goal-setting, and what support will look like moving forward. You are also welcome to ask any additional questions at that stage.

For eligible ongoing pathways, students can attend for two weeks and properly experience the quality of the teaching, resources, and support. If after that period you are not fully satisfied, send us an email and we will refund you in full. We want students to stay because the support is genuinely helping, not because they feel locked in.

Where possible, yes. We try to keep timings consistent so families can build them into their weekly routine. For most subjects, we generally recommend around 1 to 2 hours per week per subject, depending on the student’s level, goals, and pathway.

All payments are processed through the Clarity Learning Management System using secure Stripe checkout. For ongoing classes, students are generally placed on a weekly subscription, and the payment will automatically deduct on the same day they initially signed up for access to that class and student portal.

Pricing depends on the student’s year level and the pathway selected. Different pathways involve different levels of personalisation, class size, and support, so the pricing varies accordingly. We discuss this clearly during the consultation.

Unless otherwise specified, we do not offer discounts on our live classes. We work hard to keep pricing fair while maintaining a high standard of teaching, preparation, and support.

You are welcome to request a tutor, and we always do our best to align students with their preferred tutor where possible. However, we cannot guarantee this, as some tutors may already be fully booked at the time of your enquiry. What we can say with confidence is that all Clarity Coaching tutors have studied the relevant subjects themselves, are trained within the same system, and are held to shared quality standards through ongoing internal meetings and guidance.

All resources are custom tailored to the curriculum and pathway. Depending on the subject and class format, this may include notes, annotated notes, summary sheets, mock exams and SACs, quizzes on the student portal where applicable, and weekly allocated homework. Private Coaching offers the highest level of customisation, but all pathways are designed to meaningfully support student progress.

We aim to read and respond to enquiries within 24 hours where possible, and to allocate someone from operations to handle any follow-up questions. While we cannot always guarantee exactly how quickly a consultation can be booked in, we do our best to move things forward as promptly as possible.

At the moment, all classes are conducted online via Zoom. One reason our cost can remain lower than some in-person providers is because we do not carry the overhead of a physical building. We understand that some families may initially have concerns about online learning, which is why we strongly recommend trying the consultation and at least the first couple of sessions before making a judgment on the format.

Running classes online allows us to focus more heavily on teaching quality, tutor training, resources, and systems, rather than passing building costs onto families. It also gives students more flexibility and easier access to support.

Private Coaching is the most personalised option. The pacing, support, and materials can be tailored much more specifically to one student. Focus Groups, on the other hand, are designed to keep class sizes small while using a shared curriculum structure. Both are high-quality options, but the right one depends on the student’s needs, confidence, and budget.

That is one of the main purposes of the consultation. We look at where the student is currently at, what they are trying to achieve, how much support they need, and what is realistically sustainable. From there, we recommend the pathway we believe will best support their growth.

No. We work with a range of students at different levels. Some are aiming for selective entry or top academic outcomes, while others simply want more clarity, consistency, confidence, and better support in a subject. What matters most is whether the student is willing to engage and whether the pathway is a good fit.

Homework is generally allocated weekly where appropriate and is designed to reinforce what was taught rather than overwhelm students with unnecessary volume. The exact amount can vary depending on the year level, subject, and pathway.

Yes. In many cases, parents are the ones helping organise support, so the consultation is a good opportunity for both parent and student to ask questions, understand the pathway, and feel clear on what support will look like moving forward.

That can usually be discussed. If a student begins in one format and it becomes clear that another pathway would suit them better, we are happy to have that conversation and work through what makes the most sense.

We place strong emphasis on teaching quality, thoughtful pathway matching, tailored resources, and genuine support rather than simply pushing students into whatever class has space. We also believe families should be able to properly experience the support without feeling trapped, which is why the consultation process and refund period are such important parts of how we operate.
